Saturday is for Squirrels

Same place as Thursday. It's becoming our regular "haunt." Pacific University just has soooooo many squirrels, or potential for squirrels and Vegas loves it. So off we went.

"Fine, Mom, I'll pose but I'm still watching for squirrels."

It's been crazy gorgeous here in the Pacific Northwest lately. Sure, it's a bit chilly particularly overnight. But the brilliant blue skies and sunshine make it all worthwhile - especially since we have also spent a good deal of the last month prior in heavy fog. We try to get out as much as possible what with my crazy commute to work and long days. Typically we put in 2-3 miles; today was about 3.35 which was really nice. Vegas enjoys a brisk pace and our leisurely strolls on campus to squirrel hunt. It makes for nice times together.

This bench gets repainted all the time, sometimes multiple times in a week. I've been trying for the last 8 months or so to get as many pictures as possible with it in its many colors.
